I for one, many moons ago, kept on forgetting to cancel the indicator. So I decided to strike up a relationship with my bike’s indicator button: every time I gave her a hug (pushed to indicate) I made sure I gave her a kiss (pushed to cancel) before I left her (took my finger off the button). If I neglected this little ritual, my girlfriend will get angry and hurt me bad; yes a car will move off in front of me thinking I’m about to make a turn and that is the slap in the face you can do without. I’d rather not use my indicator, than use it and don’t cancel it.
Stay safe out there, keep your “girlfriend happy” and make sure you push to cancel before you take your finger off the button.
